About Nokia

Company history began in 1865, when woodworking factory for the production of paper was built at the river Nokia. Fredrick Idestam became the founder of the buisness: an engineer and businessman, who got acquainted with the technology in Germany and moved it to the Finnish soil, where it was all necessary: large forests, rivers and lakes.
